I remember my prom like it was yesterday, romantic and hormonal. Nothing like this flick! I had the honor of baking for the horror film premiere of Prom Ride, written and directed by Kazeem Molake. I LOVE horror films! I find nothing sexier than blood and terror. Top that off with a a spoonful of sugar and you have a sweet mess!
The order was for my Heart Throb (red velvet) cupcakes, which for this event I described as blood velvet and scream cheese frosting.
I had a custom stamp made of the logo that I pressed onto fondant, along with shattered candy glass that I splattered with “blood” (red food dye and water).
The film and cupcakes left everyone feeling a little terrified and naughty.
