I love the holidays, because the flavors of the season are amazing! From cinnamon, to peppermint, to maple, to bourbon. I love combining the best of the best flavors to treat my loved ones while we sit around the Christmas tree, getting turnt on Snugglers, watching cheesy Lifetime movies.
Believe it or not I have never made candy bark, so I thought I would combine some of my favorite things into this chocolate slab of heaven. It is SO EASY! I chose a bittersweet chocolate and sprinkled on bacon, nuts, toffee, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. The combination is so rich and decadent. It’s a must try! Also a great gift option that is affordable and made with love 🙂
Serious Candy Bark
1 lb bittersweet Ghirardelli Chocolate
1/2 cup Cinnamon Toast Crunch
1/4 cup Heath Toffee bits
1 cup Candied nuts and bacon bits (I used this Man Candy recipe from Recipe Tin)
Prepare the candied bacon and nuts.
Line a baking sheet with foil. In a medium sized bowl break the chocolate bars into small chunks and microwave for increments of 30 seconds, stirring between until melted. The consistency should be smooth with no lumps. Be careful not to burn your chocolate.
Pour the melted chocolate onto your baking sheet. This is the fun part: sprinkle all of your ingredients onto the chocolate, evenly dispersing so each bite has all the flavor! Let the bark set for about 20-30 minutes before breaking into large pieces. Store in the fridge (because of the bacon). Enjoy!
