My Best friend is getting married in the most beautiful, classy, chic, upscale desert wedding you could ever imagine! I wanted to capture that style in her surprise bridal shower goodies.
I made a vanilla almond layer cake filled with cherry preserves and chocolate ganache. The warm yellow colors of a sunset brought me right to the desert in this ombre butter cream frosting. This was the first time I had ever done this technique, and it was so easy!
I wanted to bake my goody bags, because that’s all I can do when it comes to DIY. I love how you can make a sugar cookie fit for any occasion, so I turned my heart upside down to create a bridal bosom laced with pearls. Sexy and classy, just like the bride. I printed the gift tags off of Microsoft Word since that is really all I know how to use, but they came out perfect. Now I am counting down the days to this gorgeous wedding! Xo
