Sexpots! As you know summer is just about here.  If you are in LA then you are already lounging by the pool, ’cause we don’t do April showers! I have recently started a new fit lifestyle to get the bikini body of my dreams. This ishh is hard! I am not giving up my baking or my sweet tooth, but I am adopting healthy alternatives that are just as satisfying and even sexier if you can believe it!

This recipe is vegan, sugar-free, gluten-free, clean, healthy, melts in your mouth not in your hand, AND it is made from kidney beans! I turn to health food blogger Vevian Gerke of Fitaliciouslife.com, whenever I need some healthy inspiration. I found a black bean truffle recipe on her instagram, and modified it to make these love balls! Get yo hot body on and yo love balls in!

Vegan Chocolate Raspberry Balls of Love Truffle

1 1/2 cups kidney beans rinsed and blended (add 1-2 tablespoons water when blending)
3 tablespoons coco powder
2 tablespoons agave
3 tablespoons coconut flower
2 tablespoons raspberry puree (boil frozen or fresh raspberries until a thick sauce consistency is reached, then strain through a mesh or metal strainer)

Coating:

10 oz dairy free (enjoy life) chocolate chips
1/2 cup unsweetened, shredded coconut

Combine all ingredients in a medium sized bowl, I always use my electric mixer, but you could manually mix this as well. Form the dough into 2inch balls and freeze for 20 minutes. In the meantime melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or a double boiler. Be careful not to over heat!

When the balls are firm dip them in the chocolate with a fork. Roll them around so they are completely covered. Set them on wax or parchment paper and immediately toss on the coconut, so it has a chance to stick to the chocolate before it dries. Enjoy once they balls are set.

Each bite is moist and sweet. The aphrodisiac raspberry and cocoa combination will have your blood circulating, and your heart beating on a level of ecstasy! Store these in the fridge, They will last for about five days, not that you would allow that 😉
